About this role:

This position involves leading the effort to develop and manage maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment.

Purpose & Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology, including field instruments, control systems, and analyzer.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation, such as transmitters, control valves, flow meters, and analyzers.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Understand preventive, predictive, and condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards.

This role supports asset reliability by developing and assigning appropriate equipment strategy.

Key Skills:

  • Skilled instrument maintenance technicians with understanding of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, and various field instruments.
