Job Role: Detail-Oriented Senior Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Senior Quality Control Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of castings and metal components through inspection, testing, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspection and Testing:

  • Visual Inspection
  • Dimensional Inspection
  • Hydrostatic Pressure Testing
  • Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT)
  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
  • Radiographic Testing (RT)

2. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Preparation and review of inspection reports

3. Coordination and Communication:

  • Liaising with third-party inspection agencies and on-site inspectors

4. Quality Assurance Plans (QAP):

  • Thorough understanding and execution of QAPs based on specific customer standards and project requirements

5. Internal Testing and Lab Analysis:

  • Daily production testing and inspection in presence of Third-Party Inspectors
  • Chemical analysis using Spectrometer (Spectro Analysis)
  • Mechanical testing: Tensile & Hardness Testing

6. Technical Collaboration:

  • Technical coordination with NABL-accredited laboratories

7. Heat Treatment Process:

  • Supervision and quality checks during heat treatment of castings

8. Measuring Instruments and Calibration:

  • Proficient in handling, usage, and calibration of precision measuring tools and gauges

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspection, testing, and quality assurance. They should be able to coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and ensure compliance with quality assurance plans.
