Job Title: Assistant Manager Accounts Payable

Our company is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Accounts Payable to manage the end-to-end AP function.

  • Manage Domestic and Import Invoices: We require timely and accurate processing of invoices in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Vendor Lifecycle Management: The ideal candidate will have expertise in onboarding, payment terms negotiation, dispute resolution, and reconciliation.
  • Fixed Asset Accounting: Proficiency in capitalization, physical verification, tagging, depreciation, and asset retirement is essential.
  • GST and TDS Compliance: Proper accounting and compliance for GST and TDS on vendor transactions, coordinating with tax and compliance teams as needed.
  • Prepaid Expenses: Systematic amortization and reporting are critical tasks for this role.
  • Financial Closure: Review and approve month-end and year-end provisions, ensuring accurate financial closure and reporting.
  • Aging Analysis: Monitor prepaid expenses and provide timely dashboards and MIS to management.
  • Process Improvements: Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the AP function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Team Management: Mentor and manage the AP team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
