We are seeking a seasoned AS400 professional to join our team in Jamnagar, India.

About the Role

This role involves developing and implementing AS400 applications using RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2 technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience with complex CL programs and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop AS400 Applications: Utilize expertise in RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2 to design, develop, and implement robust AS400 applications.
  • Design and Test CL Programs: Develop and test complex CL programs with reasonable working experience.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure satisfactory deliveries and collaborate with other vendors for SIT & UAT.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting during various phases of development.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ Years of Development Experience: Minimum 3+ years of development industry experience with exposure to the complete life cycle of development at least once on CLP/RPG/RPGLE on commercial applications.
  • Extensive Knowledge of AS400 Technology: Extensive knowledge of AS400 technology (RPGLE, CLLE, DB2), ILE, and modular programming in ILE-RPG.
  • Effort Estimation, Unit Testing, and Quality Assurance: Appreciation and knowledge of effort estimation, unit testing, and writing comprehensive unit test cases/plans.
  • Good English Communication Skills: Good English communication and experience in multi-culture work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Insurance Domain Experience: Experience in Insurance domain (preferred in Life insurance domain).
  • Team Player: Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Quality Driven: Self-motivated, flexible, responsible, and a desire for quality.
