AS400/RPG Programmer Job

We are seeking an experienced AS400/RPG developer to lead our team's technical initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in iSeries/AS400/RPG programming, with a strong knowledge of SQLRPGLE and Query/400.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex programs using RPG III or later and RPGLE programming concepts.
  • Create, build, and maintain different libraries in an AS/400 environment.
  • Provide technical support during testing and deployment, and assist in post-deployment support.
  • Interact with the client team independently and provide solutions to complex problems.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in iSeries/AS400/RPG programming.
  • Strong knowledge of SQLRPGLE and Query/400.
  • Excellent understanding of Database, DDS, sub files, and CL & OS/400 commands.
  • Experience with FTP concepts and automation, as well as complex SQL concepts and programming.
  • Hands-on experience working within an enterprise-wide data center environment is desired.
  • Any experience in Web services, Application Integration, or Modernization areas of AS/400 would be beneficial.
