About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our data team as a Data Analyst.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Data Management: Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
  • User Management: Manage users and user roles.
  • Quality Assurance: Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
  • Data Sets: Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
  • Confidential Data: Process confidential data and information according to guidelines.
  • Reporting: Helping develop reports and analyses.
  • Reporting Environment: Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Data Warehouse: Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  • Data Integrity: Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
  • Software: Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
  • Reports Generation: Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
  • Evaluations: Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
  • Training: Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Technical Expertise: Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in computer science.
  • Work Experience: Work experience as a Data or Business Analyst or in a related field.
  • Risk Assessment: Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Tool Analysis: Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to translate business requirements into nontechnical, lay terms.
  • Database Management: High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Data Handling: Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • Standards Understanding: Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
  • Communication Skills: High-level written and verbal communication skills.
