Full-Custom Memory Design Expert

We are seeking an experienced Full-Custom Memory Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design group, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of innovative memory solutions.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate should have over 8 years of experience in full-custom memory design and architectures, including characterization, layout design, net-listers, and complete SRAM design verification at the compiler level. This encompasses both design and layout aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed and optimized physical layouts for memory cells, arrays, and peripheral circuits using tools like Cadence Virtuoso or Synopsys Custom Compiler
  • Design quality plans, perform DFMEA, publish project health reports, and detail risk mitigation strategies
  • Expertise in working on memory layout design for advanced nodes (TSMC: 7nm/5nm/3nm) is essential
  • Proficiency in physical verification flow debug tools like DRC, LVS, DFM, PERC, ERC, EM, IR is required
  • Cadence Virtuoso layout editor and Caliber Physical Verification Flow expertise are also necessary
  • Synopsys Custom Compiler experience is highly valued

Requirements:

  • Experience working on FinFET architecture, addressing variability and manufacturability challenges, and optimizing layouts for yield enhancement and manufacturing robustness is crucial
  • Strong understanding of various memory architectures and hands-on experience with SRAM leafcell GDS from scratch to top-level integration
  • Familiarity with good layout practices in lower process nodes like 7nm and 5nm
