Lead Robotics Developer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Robotics Developer to drive the development and integration of autonomy systems for next-generation marine robotics platforms.

This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in robotics software and embedded systems—particularly in navigation, control, perception, and real-time systems.

  • Design and implement autonomy modules (navigation, control, perception, SLAM, etc.)
  • Lead system-level integration with sensors, embedded systems, and marine vehicle control systems
  • Establish best practices in ROS2 development, simulation testing, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Define and execute testing and validation strategies using simulation and field trials

As a Lead Robotics Developer, you will also develop scalable, reliable code in C++ and Python for marine robotics platforms, guide simulator development for accurate marine dynamics and sensor behavior, troubleshoot and debug across software-hardware interfaces during trials, and mentor junior engineers in robotics, controls, and perception.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong coding skills in C++ and Python, experience working with UAVs, AGVs, underwater robots, or any mobile robotics, hands-on expertise in ROS2, Gazebo/Unity Sim, and Linux, and a solid understanding of control theory, SLAM, sensor fusion, and kinematics.
