Senior Audit Professional

We are seeking a skilled Senior Audit Professional to join our team. As a full-time audit professional, you will be the main point of contact for tasks assigned by clients and engagement teams.

You will be responsible for ensuring the timeliness and quality of deliverables, as well as managing day-to-day operations of client engagements.

About the Role

This role primarily focuses on clients in the Construction industry, with additional responsibilities involving Employee Benefit Plans (EBP) or Not-for-Profit (NFP) organizations.

  • Lead a client engagement and deliver high-quality work as per the audit methodology and in line with the client team expectations.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of aligned client and audit methodology while performing various procedures, along with knowledge of audit tools to make execution/review more efficient and meaningful.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with the client team.
  • Proactively discuss workflow management with the client team, allocating juniors to assigned work and monitoring performance against standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Articleship experience with other Big4 or mid-tier accounting firms
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in US Audits (Qualified candidates) or 3+ years of relevant work experience in US Audits (Non-Qualified candidates)
  • Deep knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
  • Proficiency in using various audit tools and applications
Preferred Skills

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation, and presentation skills.

You should also have project management, leadership, coaching, counselling, and supervisory skills, as well as robust logical and reasoning skills.
