Job Title: US Audit Manager

As a seasoned audit professional, you will be the main point of contact from our organization for assigned clients and be responsible for managing day-to-day operations.

This role primarily focuses on clients in the construction industry, with additional responsibilities involving government & banking audits. You will be involved in various engagement types, including reviews, audits, and compilations, ensuring thorough and compliant execution of each engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Seniors, Senior Associates, and Associates by setting clear expectations and allocating professionals to assigned work.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with key client contacts, such as principals/partners.
  • Proactively discuss workflow management with the client and monitor performance against standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the scope of work and standardize audit processes.
  • Help team members grow by encouraging them to actively contribute to the team.
  • Conduct timely performance reviews and provide feedback and training.
  • Use technology and tools to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Articleship with other Big4 or mid-tier accounting firms
  • Qualified candidates - 5+ years of relevant work experience in US Audits
  • Non-Qualified candidates - 7+ years of relevant work experience in US Audits
  • Expert knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
  • Proficiency in using various audit tools and applications
