Data Governance Initiative

Our organization relies heavily on data to drive decision-making. To support this, we're seeking a skilled professional to lead the development and implementation of our data governance framework.

  1. Spearhead the deployment and configuration of data governance platforms, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  2. Design and implement customized workflows, dashboards, and integrations to enhance data quality and accessibility.
  3. Develop tooling for data observability and quality management, leveraging expertise in Collibra and other relevant technologies.
  4. Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues related to the data governance technology stack, applying software engineering principles to resolve complexities.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  6. Evaluate opportunities to optimize data governance processes through automation and advanced tooling features.

About the Role:

  • Possess strong software engineering skills, with experience in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
  • Demonstrate expertise in software architecture and fundamental data engineering concepts.
  • Have hands-on experience with Collibra Suite or similar platforms and their integration in enterprise ecosystems.
  • Be proficient in building and deploying cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform, with knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Snowflake or GCP BigQuery is essential.
  • A good understanding of data quality measurement and related concepts is necessary.
