Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the organization's data assets are accurate, secure, compliant, and properly managed throughout their lifecycle. You will play a key role in implementing data governance frameworks, managing data lineage, Master Data Management (MDM), and ensuring GDPR compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, implement, and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.

- Manage and monitor data lineage to ensure data traceability and accuracy across systems.

- Lead initiatives on Master Data Management (MDM), ensuring data consistency, quality, and reliability.

- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data privacy regulations, including data protection impact assessments and data retention policies.

- Collaborate with IT, business, and compliance teams to define data standards, data quality metrics, and governance frameworks.

- Conduct data audits, data quality assessments, and implement remediation plans for data inconsistencies or breaches.

- Provide training and awareness programs to stakeholders on data governance best practices.

- Serve as a subject matter expert for data governance tools, processes, and industry best practices.

- Support data-driven decision-making by ensuring high-quality, trusted, and compliant data is available for analytics and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.

- 48 years of experience in data governance, data management, or data compliance roles.

- Hands-on experience with data lineage tools and Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.

- Strong knowledge of GDPR and other data protection regulations.

- Experience with data quality management, metadata management, and data catalog tools.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
