Job Title:

A Stripe Implementation Engineer will lead the implementation, integration, and ongoing management of our platform.

  • This hybrid role combines technical expertise (APIs, test data, automation) with administrative ownership (configuration, workflows, business process alignment).
  • Key responsibilities include owning end-to-end implementation of payment modules (Payments, Billing, Connect, Subscriptions), configuring workflows for invoicing, recurring billing, chargebacks, and refunds, managing accounts, user roles, permissions, and integrations with other systems.
  • Additional responsibilities involve designing and maintaining API integrations between platforms (CRM, ERP, analytics), building and managing test data environments to simulate payment flows and edge cases, automating transaction scenarios for validation and regression testing, implementing monitoring, logging, and alerts to ensure reliability and transparency of payment flows.
  • Finally, this position requires translating business process flows into configurations, collaborating with finance, product, and operations teams to streamline processes and improve accuracy, troubleshooting and resolving payment issues, disputes, and operational bottlenecks, providing internal training, documentation, and ongoing support for usage.
Requirements
  • Must have a strong understanding of Stripe APIs, payment gateways, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with integration, configuration, and troubleshooting of third-party systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
