About the Role

  • Oversee end-to-end pipeline development, driving conversions by defining stages of the sales funnel.
  • Lead discovery calls, conduct compelling product demos for prospects, and collaborate with Customer Success and Engineering to create custom demos.
  • Mentor and coach current AEs on best practices to close large ACV customers, driving success in advanced deal stages.
  • Project manage deals through sheer hustle and proactiveness, ensuring timely execution and maximized revenue potential.
  • Negotiate contracts, demonstrate value compared to legacy vendors, and win deals by leveraging strong negotiation skills.
  • Implement solutions with Engineering and Solutions, guiding prospects towards successful go-live outcomes.
  • Exceed sales quotas while instilling best-in-class CRM hygiene for improved pipeline visibility.
  • Advocate for customer needs in discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering, driving product improvement.
  • Build and lead a team of AEs over time, cultivating talent and expertise.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience selling B2B SaaS to US customers, with a track record of consistently beating quota.
  • Previous experience selling to Mid Market and Enterprise customers, closing deals with ACV $75k+ and ideally $100k+.
  • Ability to build, manage, and motivate a team, with prior success as one of the first AEs at a startup.
  • Prior experience coaching/managing junior AEs is a strong plus, as well as previous entrepreneurial experience.
  • Strong project management skills, proactiveness, and a solid understanding of sales processes (e.g. MEDDPICC).
  • Willingness to work in the US time zone (~4 am IST) on weekdays due to client proximity.
