Senior SAP Services Consultant

About the Role
SAP is searching for a skilled Senior Consultant to join our Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT) team in India, Bangalore office.
As a Senior Consultant, you will be working in a global team to deliver national and international projects across global regions, focusing on realizing planned changes in productive SAP applications and system landscapes, and driving customers' transition to SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying customers' holistic business needs and designing and architecting the appropriate solution proposal from the DMLT Portfolio and beyond.
- Leading and facilitating customer workshops and discussions to validate the best solution design for the customers' requirements and leading a global solution architect team.
- Delivering DMLT services projects remotely and onsite, in distributed regional and global teams.
- Conducting feasibility studies and system analyses, supported by SAP DMLT products, tools, and methodology.
- Contributing to continuously enhance the DMLT solution design according to changing market requirements and identifying potential enhancements.
- Closely collaborating with people in different roles and locations, and with different areas and levels of expertise (for example, customer engagement lead, developers, product owners, solution architects, sales teams).
- Establishing and maintaining trustful relationships with people on all levels of both externally on customer side and SAP internally.
- Driving customer opportunities throughout all engagement phases (presales, sales, and delivery).
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience as a Consultant or Solution Architect of SAP Software solution portfolio and overall, 10 to 14 years of total IT industry experience.
- Strong work experience in one or more SAP ERP Solution or module (e.g., as a functional consultant with technical skills (SAP data model, ABAP) and experience in Data Transformation, Data Migration projects and solutions (SAP LT, DMLT Services or SAP EIM Solutions).
- Deep understanding of BTP architecture and BTP-App Dev & Integration.
- Hands-on expertise in BTP CAP&RAP, Fiori, OData, BTP-Restful Application Programming.
- Understanding in SAP's new dimension products along Intelligent Enterprise – e.g., S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Data Intelligence, Machine Learning is a plus.
- Proficiency in ABAP & Object-Oriented ABAP, ABAP on HANA, CDS, AMDP.
- SAP Full stack experience with S/4HANA implementations or extensions/integrations with BTP.
- Good Knowledge of BTP and various services and security concepts of BTP.
- Understanding of cloud foundry architecture and development methodology.

- If the candidate has programming knowledge and experience (SAPUI5, Python, JAVA, NodeJS, etc.) is a strong asset.
- Knowledge on SAP's best practice standards and tools for Application Lifecycle Management of Cloud Solutions.
- If any experience in executing data migration and conversion projects, various data migration techniques and approaches as well as data management/governance topics like data management strategy, governance, data quality, master data governance.
