Job Role:

Senior Compliance Manager

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing risk, and maintaining effective internal controls.

Responsibilities include:

  • Compliance Reporting & Disclosures: Developing, reviewing, and implementing compliance reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Investment Limits Monitoring: Supporting the Head of Compliance in monitoring investment limits within the front-office system.
  • Policies, Procedures & SOPs: Drafting, revising, and implementing policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures related to compliance.
  • Compliance Oversight: Overseeing various functions for regulatory adherence, conducting internal reviews, and managing day-to-day tasks.
  • Regulatory Interface: Coordinating with regulators, auditors, consultants, and other stakeholders on compliance and audit matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in compliance with exposure to mutual funds/AIFs.
  • Graduation in Finance, Law, or a related field; Company Secretary qualification preferred.
  • Practical knowledge of SEBI, FEMA, and RBI regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
