Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee our GeM operations and tender processes across government sectors.

This role is pivotal in expanding our presence in public sector IT solutions and managing relationships with government clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee GeM portal operations, including product catalog management, pricing updates, and order processing.
  • Lead end-to-end tender management for IT government contracts, including preparation, submission, and follow-up.
  • Ensure compliance with government procurement policies, GeM guidelines, and tender specifications.
  • Coordinate between internal technical teams and public sector clients to deliver tailored IT solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and procurement officers.
  • Analyze market opportunities in government IT sector and prepare strategic proposals.
  • Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies in government tenders.
  • Manage documentation, contracts, and legal compliance for government projects.
  • Collaborate with sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in GeM operations and government tender management.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and policies.
  • Experience with IT sector tenders, particularly in cybersecurity, data centers, or digital infrastructure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and tender management tools.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements for government contracts.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.

  • Experience working with major IT vendors.
  • Previous experience in B2G sales.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity solutions and data center technologies.
  • Certification in project management or procurement.
  • Experience with government clients in defense, healthcare, or educational sectors.
