Job Role Overview
As a Communications Strategist, you will lead our narrative-driven approach to media relations and brand reputation initiatives. This pivotal role drives the company's presence across traditional and digital platforms while managing client-facing communications campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic communications plans to enhance brand visibility and positioning.
- Build relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media kits, and thought-leadership articles.
- Oversee crisis communication strategies and reputation management.
- Monitor media coverage and provide insights, analytics, and ROI reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure message consistency across platforms.
- Support client mandates, including product launches, press conferences, and events.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media strategy.
- Strong network of media contacts across print, digital, and broadcast.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to handle multiple campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with communications tools such as Meltwater, Cision, or similar platforms.
- Experience in an agency environment is a plus.
