Financial Operations Specialist

This role oversees financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting and contributing to the overall success of the company.

The job entails utilizing advanced proficiency in Yardi software to oversee financial processes, including journal entries, reconciliation, and reporting. Ensuring data accuracy and integrity is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Yardi to manage and optimize accounts payable/receivable workflows, ensuring timely and accurate processing, invoice reconciliation, and vendor communications.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Facilitate audits, liaising with auditors and providing necessary documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within Yardi, streamline procedures, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with property management, finance, and other departments to streamline data flow and ensure alignment in financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Yardi software in a real estate or property management setting, demonstrating advanced proficiency.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial analysis, and reporting principles within the commercial real estate industry.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities with a detail-oriented approach, proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Previous leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.

Qualifications: B.Com/M.Com/CA/CPA/CFA degree with minimum 2-3 years of corporate experience, preferably from reputed companies
