Product Designer Position

We are seeking an experienced Product Designer to lead the design of our toys and supporting materials.

This individual will create safe, engaging, and developmentally aligned products that inspire children and delight parents.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create innovative toy forms based on child-development research and iterate accordingly.
  • Develop CAD models and production-ready drawings for efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Design, build, and refine prototypes with stakeholder input for effective product realization.
  • Design Language & Branding:
  • Establish cohesive toy aesthetics through material selection, finishes, and color schemes.
  • Support the creation of a unified brand identity, including logo, packaging, and visual systems.
  • Develop brand guidelines for ensuring design consistency across all products.
  • Parent Materials & Packaging:
  • Design educational play guides and instructional inserts for easy user understanding.
  • Develop engaging graphics for toy packaging to enhance customer experience.
  • Contribute to the design of kit storage solutions, such as bags and boxes, for convenient product organization.
  • Collaboration:
  • Foster close working relationships with child-development experts and manufacturers to ensure product safety and quality.
  • Maintain accurate design documentation for production and compliance purposes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Product/Industrial Design (NID/IIT or equivalent).
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, or similar) and prototyping skills.
  • A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership, from concept to prototype development.
  • Experience working with children's products, toys, or consumer goods is preferred.
  • An ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, and safety in product design.
  • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
