Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at Emerson. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships and driving sales growth in the field of process control instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow customer relationships.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers, aligning their needs with Emerson's products and solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, including technical, commercial, and operational stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and executing plans to drive sales growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and customer engagement.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably in the field of process control instrumentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in developing and executing sales strategies and customer engagement plans.
- Knowledge of the sales process in diverse industrial segments, with a focus on process control instrumentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a matrixed organization, with a focus on driving sales growth and customer engagement.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development.
- Knowledge of industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments, with a focus on process control instrumentation.
