Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented professional to join our team as a P&C Insurance Domain Expert.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, with a strong understanding of Lloyds Products in the London market.

Responsibilities will include configuration changes for OpenBox system, documenting functional and business requirements, and configuring rating logic and business rules.

The ideal candidate will be able to independently engage with business for requirements gathering and project coordination.

A collaborative approach is essential, with excellent communication skills and the ability to provide detailed walkthroughs of the system requirement.

The successful candidate will also have experience in implementing software solutions using established Insurance software products or customized software solutions.

Able to work on various business features and transactions: Policy Administration, Rating, Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance of various General insurance products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform configuration related changes for OpenBox system.
  • Document functional and business requirements for OpenBox and Genius system.
  • Configure rating logic and business rules along with patterns of business logic.
  • Document and articulate all functional, UI, and product requirements using standard methods.
  • Understand the offerings and Products that will be implemented; understand what is currently available, supported and not supported and present the same.
  • Perform functional testing of the solution to troubleshoot and identify the issues quickly, report to respective stakeholders and track to closure during development and before deployment.
  • Demonstrate the solution, discuss scope changes to determine the impact analysis; engage with UAT users to assist in completing the UAT.
  • Provide detailed walkthroughs of the system requirement, closely work with technical associates on project development activities, review test cases and assist in closing QA cycle, and provide knowledge transfer to other team members.
  • Provide estimates for the activities; as part of change management informs the criticality, impact, risks, and priority.
  • Provide timely walkthroughs of the work items documentation, configured products, solution; regularly update the complex and challenging tasks.
Requirements:
  • Experience and knowledge of P&C Insurance domain and Lloyds Products in the London market.
  • Experience in Blueprint 2 initiative who can independently engage with business for requirements gathering and project coordination.
  • Experience in implementing software solutions using established Insurance software products or customized software solutions.
  • Experience in implementing various business features and transactions: Policy Administration, Rating, Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance of various General insurance products.
