We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our credit risk analysis team in India. This individual will be responsible for underwriting deals for the US market, working closely with our credit committee in New York.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of credit analysts in India to ensure timely and accurate underwriting of deals for the US market.
  • Collaborate with the credit committee in New York to ensure seamless functioning of the credit function.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of credit analysis and train the team to adhere to underwriting quality metrics.
  • Oversee daily underwriting pipelines and queues to ensure efficient resource allocation and timely movement.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for escalated or complex underwriting scenarios, providing guidance and resolving issues to support smooth loan flow.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, economics, or a related field, with additional qualifications such as CFA Level 2+ or FRM Level 2. Experience in credit analysis, especially in the real estate industry, is essential, along with exposure to the US market. Strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask are also required.
