Job Overview:

  • Manage daily operations and drive end-to-end process improvements.
  • Perform transactional activities, including spot buying, procurement requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor management.
  • Oversee day-to-day procurement operations within the GBS function, ensuring efficient handling of purchase requisitions and supplier management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of procurement requests, from initiation to order fulfillment.
  • Extract reports from SAP as per business requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors for deliveries and queries related to POs created.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure service delivery meets expectations.
  • Communicate effectively upon inquiries from internal/external customers.
  • Follow up-to-date operational procedures and adhere to standardized processes.
  • Initiate or execute archiving of contracts/purchase orders.
  • Identify potential issues and make appropriate escalations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of indirect spend procurement experience with strong negotiation skills.
  • SAP module knowledge and experience.
  • Desirable working experience in a Shared Services Center procurement procedures.
