Job Title: Technical Consultant

Are you an expert in Murex Mxml with a passion for delivering solutions? We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data transformation logic to ensure seamless integration with Murex systems.
  • Develop import and export workflows using MXML Exchange, ensuring efficient data processing and exchange.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including functional, technical, and test cases, to support integration efforts.
  • Produce detailed exception reports for failures, enabling prompt issue resolution.
  • Configure and build Murex Reports for report-based interfaces, ensuring timely and accurate information delivery.
  • Develop custom tasks in MxML Exchange for specific processing needs not met by standard libraries.
  • Collaborate on CRs for BO Workflows, including Contract, Event, Deliverable, and other Business object workflows.
  • Prepare and send effective periodic status reports, highlighting progress and achievements.
  • Monitor testing progress and escalate issues promptly, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of test plans, guaranteeing thorough testing.
  • Identify error causes and escalate outstanding issues for clarification and resolution.
  • Escalate identified issues/risks to project managers in a timely fashion.
  • Support project managers with effort estimation related to development and UAT.
  • Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for Mx environment and database availability.
  • Establish and maintain report delivery plans with relevant traceability.

A strong understanding of the Murex system is essential. Proficiency in UNIX and SQL, as well as familiarity with financial instruments such as Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Currency Derivatives, Swaps, Futures, Options, FRA, etc., is also required.
