Strategic Global Engagement Lead

The role exists to shape international policy, foster global partnerships, and enhance India's trade and investment opportunities in alignment with national economic priorities.

This position operates in a highly dynamic global business and policy environment. It requires proactive engagement with governments, multilateral organizations, global industry associations, and Indian businesses to influence international trade and economic policy.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have a Master's degree in international relations, Public Policy, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. PhD or equivalent international policy exposure is preferred.

A total of 25-30 years of progressive leadership experience in trade, diplomacy, global economic policy, or senior roles in government/industry bodies with extensive international exposure is required.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing the organisation's international strategy to enhance India's global economic influence.

You will build and sustain relationships with foreign governments, multilateral organisations, and global chambers to advance trade and investment opportunities.

You will drive programs for market access, investment facilitation, and international business cooperation to deliver tangible outcomes for Indian industry.

You will ensure global engagements reinforce India's domestic economic and policy objectives to align with national priorities.

You will develop revenue streams through collaborations, sponsorships, and projects to ensure financial sustainability of international initiatives.
