We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Quantitative Valuation Specialist.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating monthly and quarterly valuation processes covering a variety of credit strategies and asset types across hundreds of borrowers/issuers. They will also help recruit, train, manage and develop a valuation operations team to support our global valuation processes.

Key responsibilities include managing the population of assets in scope for valuation, communicating effectively with the global team on day-to-day workflow status, open items, questions, personnel, etc., navigating time zone differences as necessary. The ideal candidate will also design systems and processes needed for efficient valuation workflows, leveraging technology, automation and AI tools to streamline workflows.

Responsibilities also include supporting the creation of summary materials for valuation committees to review and approve significant changes/events, valuation and market trends, and key judgments. Additionally, they will prepare documentation in support of compliance with external audit requirements, including SOX reporting.

We are looking for a qualified candidate who has 4-6 years of experience within financial services, preferably with credit experience, and strong Microsoft Office skills. A proven record of project management/oversight with strong communication skills is required. The ideal candidate will have a mix of operations and finance/accounting experience, analytical and problem-solving skills, including leveraging technology to streamline processes.

Requirements
