About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Executive for Fundraising to lead our efforts in securing funds from CSR programs, grants, institutional donors, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs).

This critical role involves building a dynamic team, cultivating strategic partnerships, developing impactful proposals and expanding funding opportunities to strengthen and scale our education programs nationwide.

The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO and CFO and will be responsible for:

  • Donor Research & Proposal Development : Identify and research potential sponsors, institutional donors, corporates, and High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs). Develop customized concept notes, proposals, and templates for donors.
  • Donor Engagement & Retention : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing donors through reports, email updates, and personalized communication. Provide timely data and insights to support team members in preparing donor-specific reports.
  • Team Leadership and Mentoring : Build and oversee an effective fundraising team focused on CSR, grants, foundations, and institutional funding. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Campaign Management : Plan and execute impactful fundraising events and campaigns. Collaborate with volunteers and team members to maximize event outcomes. Leverage digital platforms to design and manage campaigns aimed at expanding the digital donor network. Utilize data analytics to assess campaign performance and inform future strategies.
  • Network Development : Proactively network with potential institutional donors, corporates, and HNIs in collaboration with the program team. Maintain accurate and organized records of sponsors and donor activities.

Qualifications include a Master's degree in Marketing, Social Work, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, along with minimum ten years of fundraising experience; prior managerial experience is an advantage.

Required competencies include creativity and persuasive communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to think quickly and make decisions under pressure, entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative spirit, outgoing and poised personality with exemplary communication abilities, and strong leadership skills to inspire and lead teams.
