Investment Deal Support Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role involves working closely with institutional clients to understand their requirements for investment deals in the structured finance space.

This individual will play a crucial part in onboarding, monitoring and other aspects of risk monitoring as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard client portfolios by reviewing legal agreements, understanding servicer or trustee reporting.
  • Support clients in risk and exposure monitoring of transactions.
  • Calculate and monitor covenants, concentration limits, eligibility criteria and other key metrics.
  • Assist/lead daily operations, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables.
  • Liaise with the Business Analyst team to ensure data accuracy on proprietary platforms.
  • Mentor junior team members to improve learning curve.
  • Provide enhanced surveillance to clients on portfolio performance.
  • Streamline processes to increase efficiency and standardize SOPS.

Required Skills:

  • Broad understanding of Structured Finance products and corporate credit landscape.
  • In-depth financial and accounting knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel financial modeling.
  • Experience with financial databases like Bloomberg, Capital IQ and Factiva.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Desired candidate must have a graduate degree in finance, preferably MBA or CFA.
