As a quality leader, you will oversee the entire technical services and quality control operations within our organization. This role involves ensuring compliance with international standards such as API, ISO, ASTM, and others.

We are seeking an individual with expertise in metallurgy to apply advanced knowledge for troubleshooting, process optimization, and material selection. Your role will also involve analysing and resolving technical issues related to steel properties, fabrication, and performance.

In addition to your technical skills, we require strong communication and interpersonal abilities to manage client and vendor relationships effectively.

You will be responsible for driving innovation in materials, processes, and product designs. This includes leading R&D efforts for new products catering to the Oil & Gas industry applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership & Strategy
    • Develop and implement technical strategies aligned with business objectives.
    • Evaluate testing protocols for steel pipes, coatings, welding, and NDT.
  • Quality Control & Assurance
    • Monitor and ensure traceability of inspection, testing, and certification processes.
    • Collaborate with vendors for quality assurance, technical compliance, and process enhancements.
  • New Product Development & Innovation
    • Drive innovation in materials, processes, and product designs.
    • Lead R&D efforts for new products catering to Oil & Gas industry applications.
  • Metallurgical Expertise
    • Apply advanced metallurgical knowledge for troubleshooting, process optimization, and material selection.
    • Analyse and resolve technical issues related to steel properties, fabrication, and performance.
  • Client & Vendor Management
    • Act as the primary technical contact for key clients, ensuring timely resolution of technical queries and issues.
    • Provide technical inputs for tenders, proposals, and customer specifications.
  • Compliance & Standards
    • Ensure compliance with statutory, industry, and customer-specific requirements.
    • Keep abreast of emerging standards, technologies, and best practices in the Oil & Gas and hydrogen energy sectors.
