About the Chief Facilities Manager Role

The Chief Facilities Manager oversees the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

  • Manage and train housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service and quality results.
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Optimize inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management preferred.
  • Leadership skills: Strong leadership and management abilities, with a proven track record of motivating and directing team members.
  • Attention to detail: Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Effective communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups and stakeholders.
