The position of Pastry Cook is a key role within our organization, responsible for preparing a variety of pastry and dessert menu items according to provided recipes and photos.

This requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare pastry and dessert menu items according to established recipes and visual guidelines.
  • Design and set up visually appealing pastry displays on buffets as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to transport food items from main storage areas to the pastry galley.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment and equipment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, and other work-related activities as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a Pastry Cook in a high-end hotel, resort, cruise ship, or convention banqueting service (shipboard experience preferred).
  • Excellent knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and adherence to health regulations.
