Key Role: Technical Governance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the implementation of governance frameworks, ensuring operational rigor and strategic alignment across complex programs.

The Opportunity:

  • Translate business objectives into actionable plans by executing governance strategies, coordinating operations, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize governance tools and workflows, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Apply and refine standards for decision-making, prioritization, and compliance adherence.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance governance processes and tooling, aligning with industry best practices.
  • Serve as a key partner to cross-functional teams, providing guidance on governance principles and policies.
  • Maintain accurate governance documentation, templates, and internal resources.
  • Monitor governance performance and industry trends, informing strategic enhancements.

About You:

  • You have 5–9 years of experience in governance, program management, and execution, with a strong understanding of governance frameworks and compliance.
  • You possess excellent organizational, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills, with proficiency in tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, Monday.com, and Jira.
  • You are comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority.
  • You have a strong communication and facilitation skillset, with experience in matrixed, global organizations and familiarity with Mastercard's governance model a plus.
