Data Governance Specialist

We are seeking a Data Governance Specialist to support the accuracy, completeness, and quality of data pipelines across various platforms.

  • Serve as business and technical steward for assigned data domains.
  • Create & Maintain metadata, business glossary, and data catalog entries in data governance tools like Collibra or similar.
  • Work with data owners to enforce data definitions, classifications, and data quality rules.

Data Governance Responsibilities:

  1. Support data governance efforts by performing data profiling, issue identification, and remediation coordination.
  2. Assist in governance tool configuration, workflow management, and integration automation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Governance and Operations of Data Governance
  • Hands-on experience with Collibra (catalog, lineage, workflows, API integrations)
  • Strong understanding of data quality, metadata management, and data classification practices

This role will be critical in establishing trusted data foundations that drive business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless data delivery and align data delivery with business requirements.
