Senior Architect

This role oversees and leads architectural projects, providing technical expertise and ensuring design standards and client requirements are met.

The Senior Architect will work with design teams, project managers, and clients to develop and execute innovative architectural solutions for commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.

  • Project Leadership:
  • Lead the architectural design process, ensuring all designs are creative, functional, and compliant with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop detailed architectural drawings and presentations for various project types.
  • Project Coordination:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.
  • Ensure alignment between architectural design and construction feasibility, budgets, and schedules.
  • Client Collaboration:
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure the design vision is effectively executed.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expertise and advice throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Code Compliance:
  • Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Mentorship and Team Development:
  • Lead and mentor junior architects and design staff, offering guidance on design processes and professional development.
  • Sustainability and Innovation:
  • Promote sustainable design practices and materials in architectural solutions, minimizing environmental impact.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Architect (RA or equivalent certification) is preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in architectural design, with a proven track record in leading complex projects.
  • Extensive experience working with architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with US-specific building codes, zoning laws, and regulatory requirements.

To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. You should also be proficient in architectural design software and have a deep understanding of US building codes and regulations.
