Job Overview

As a key member of our data engineering team, the Enterprise Data Strategist will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end data architecture solutions for cross-product reporting. This role involves defining canonical insurance data models, establishing robust data contracts with product teams, and developing multi-tenant data isolation and security strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data architectures that meet business needs and ensure data quality and observability.
  • Collaborate with product teams to define data requirements and develop data contracts.
  • Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available data platforms using streaming and batch technologies.
  • Establish semantic layers with governed, reusable metrics and institute data quality checks.
  • Own governance and compliance, including metadata, lineage, catalog, PII handling, retention, and audit trails.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years in data engineering/architecture, with 5+ years architecting analytics platforms for SaaS or enterprise products.
  • Proven experience designing lakehouse/warehouse architectures and event-driven data pipelines at scale.
  • Strong dimensional/star schema and semantic modeling skills.
