Job Title: Procurement Officer - Category Management

The Procurement Officer - Category Management will be responsible for managing the procurement process from end-to-end, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of indirect categories. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, develop strategies, and manage contract lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage procurement processes for indirect categories, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to deliver cost savings and value to the organization.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements with vendors, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, service, or delivery, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize the supplier base and reduce procurement risk, contributing to the organization's overall success.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and pricing, with a strong understanding of commercial agreements and terms.
  • Experience with procurement software and systems, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
