Technical Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor various aspects of the global brokerage system in real-time, ensuring seamless operation and prompt issue resolution.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot system operational issues, escalating complex problems to senior teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with architecture and infrastructure teams to conduct post-incident reviews and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide 2nd-level technical support to internal teams, offering expert guidance and solutions to technical queries.
  • Monitor Batch Job Scheduler and troubleshoot failed or delayed jobs, ensuring timely completion and minimal downtime.
  • Analyze existing business workflows and contribute to the development of new monitoring tools and automated process monitoring.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for all brokerage system technical issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Essential Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
  • Strong communication skills, with English as the primary language.
  • A working knowledge of general computing concepts, networking, the Linux operating system, and related technologies.
  • The ability to analyze and solve problems promptly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a technology position.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux-style command line interfaces.
  • Previous experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python).
  • A desire to explore and learn new concepts, systems, and technologies.
