Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, implement and maintain cutting-edge NoSQL database systems and search engines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Couchbase, or similar, and expertise in search technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, or similar.

  • Design, implement and maintain high-performance NoSQL database systems and search engines
  • Develop and optimize search algorithms to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Analyze and understand data requirements to design effective data models
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues to ensure system stability and efficiency
  • Implement data indexing and ensure efficient data retrieval processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in NoSQL and search technologies, and apply them to improve existing systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a NoSQL / Search Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Couchbase, or similar
  • Expertise in search technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, or similar
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python
  • Familiarity with data modeling, indexing, and query optimization techniques
  • Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good understanding of Linux debugging tools and performance tuning
