Job Description

Seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to oversee the maintenance and administration of NoSQL databases across multiple environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication skills.

The selected individual will be responsible for creating, administering, monitoring, and maintaining complex database systems. This includes working with development teams to design and implement optimized databases, implementing relational databases, and supporting application development for performance tuning.

Experience with high-volume data administration, Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies, and NoSQL databases such as Couchbase, MongoDB, and CosmosDB is essential. Additionally, expertise in ElasticSearch and logical/physical database designs for applications and infrastructure is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Administration: Create, administer, monitor, and maintain multiple Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Cosmos environments.
  • Database Design: Work with development teams to design and implement optimized NoSQL databases.
  • Relational Database Management: Implement relational databases, tables, and table changes.
  • Application Support: Support application development for problem solving and performance tuning.
  • SQL Server Environment Administration: Assist in administering, monitoring, and maintaining SQL Server environments, including disaster recovery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience working in Database, Data Management, or Engineering roles.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in high volume/high transaction data administration.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience managing NoSQL databases such as Couchbase, MongoDB, and CosmosDB.
  • 2+ years of experience in ElasticSearch.
