We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team.

As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining high-performance database systems.

You will ensure that databases are secure, scalable, and highly available.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, with experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle.

You should also have knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.

A certification in database administration or related fields is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement database schemas, tables, and relationships based on business requirements.
  • Develop and optimize stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Implement data partitioning, replication, and sharding strategies for scalability.
  • Analyze slow queries and optimize database performance using indexing, caching, and tuning techniques.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
  • 4+ years of experience in database administration, engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database optimization techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
  • Experience with cloud-based database solutions (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud Spanner).
