We are seeking a seasoned business development professional to spearhead our growth initiatives in the petrochemicals and oil rigs sector.
- Leading business development efforts for the petrochemicals vertical, with a focus on oil rigs and exploration assets.
- Identifying strategic acquisition opportunities in underperforming oil rigs globally, leveraging industry insights and market trends.
- Developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential acquisition targets in coastal regions worldwide, fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive deal execution and maximize value.
- Monitoring market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to identify new growth avenues.
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:
- A minimum 15 years of experience in business development, M&A, or strategy in the petrochemicals/oil & gas sector.
- A proven track record of successful deal-making, particularly with international assets or companies.
- In-depth knowledge of upstream oil & gas operations, especially rig operations.
- A strong global network in the petrochemical space, with expertise in coastal countries with active oil rigs.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- An MBA or relevant technical qualification is highly preferred.
