Job Summary

The Content Manager role is a key position within the Knowledge Management Services (KMS) team at Boston Consulting Group. This individual contributor role involves developing the content management strategy for the Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) Practice Area and capturing, building, and organizing BCG’s intellectual assets on the intranet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Content Strategy: Develop a comprehensive content strategy for the Principal Investors & Private Equity Practice Area, leveraging knowledge of content management processes and business needs.
  • End-to-End Content Management: Run the entire content management lifecycle, from identifying key topics and cases of commercial impact to final development and publishing of relevant intellectual property.
  • Content Curation and Knowledge Capture: Be accountable for running both content curation processes and knowledge capture activities for the Practice Area.
  • Best Practices Sharing: Share best practices across topic teams and make direct and specific edits to improve content when appropriate.
  • Content Mapping and Tracking: Ensure content maps are set up for identified topics and track completeness and availability, helping topic teams navigate.
  • Content Auditing and Upkeep: Conduct regular content audits to ensure proper upkeep of pages with the most relevant, latest, and greatest materials in coordination with the PA Knowledge Team.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure high-quality standards are maintained in the Practice Area and keep key knowledge sources up-to-date and ready for use.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create and send regular reports on content usage and relevancy.
  • Expertise Management: Play a role in expertise management, ensuring key PA thought leaders are identified in Link, our internal expertise finder tool.
  • Project Management: Play a crucial role in project management of several PA content-related initiatives and special projects, constantly striving to innovate processes by challenging the status quo.
  • Recruitment and Training: Play an active role in recruitment according to business needs, providing day-to-day apprenticeship and coaching for junior staff, and assisting in long-term professional development and performance evaluation.
About the Role

This role requires a strong understanding of the consulting space and knowledge services and management processes in consulting firms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business processes with diverse and global sets of senior stakeholders. Fluency in English is required, with other languages requested in certain locations.
