Pet Care Operations Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pet Care Operations Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our dog walking service.
This role is pivotal to ensuring an excellent customer experience by maintaining high fulfillment rates for scheduled walks and a steady supply of skilled dog walkers.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily schedules, coordinate with dog walkers, and address any operational issues in real-time.
- Communicate with customers to provide updates and resolve any service-related concerns promptly.
- Proactively onboard new dog walkers to maintain a sufficient supply.
- Retain existing walkers by ensuring they feel supported and motivated.
- Track and analyze walker performance to identify top performers and address underperformance.
- Develop and optimize systems to track walk fulfillment rates, cancellations, and other key metrics.
- Collaborate with the customer support team to resolve complaints and improve service quality.
- Assist in training new walkers to align them with Sploot's service standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in operations or a similar role (experience in logistics, pet care, or gig-economy businesses is a plus).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with walkers and customers.
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
