Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Associate to oversee the daily operations of our dog walking service. This role is pivotal to ensuring an excellent customer experience by maintaining high fulfillment rates for scheduled walks and a steady supply of skilled dog walkers.


Key Responsibilities


1. Manage Daily Operations:
  • Ensure close to 100% fulfillment of all scheduled dog walking sessions.
  • Monitor daily schedules, coordinate with walkers, and address any operational hiccups in real time.
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates and resolve any service-related concerns promptly.


2. Supply Management:
  • Proactively onboard new dog walkers to maintain sufficient supply.
  • Retain existing walkers by ensuring they feel supported and motivated.
  • Track and analyze walker performance to identify top performers and address underperformance.
3. Process Improvement:
  • Develop and optimize systems to track walk fulfillment rates, cancellations, and other key metrics.
  • Collaborate with the customer support team to resolve complaints and improve service quality.
  • Assist in training new walkers to align them with Sploot’s service standards.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in operations or a similar role (experience in logistics, pet care, or gig-economy businesses is a plus).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with walkers and customers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
