We are seeking a highly skilled Market Abuse Investigator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing market abuse trading activity generated by automated monitoring systems.

The scope of work includes offshoring administrative and Level I support to Capital Markets Surveillance teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze market abuse trading activity in accordance with relevant review processes as defined in the operating guidelines.
  • Obtain and upload analysis results and relevant material for record-keeping purposes.
  • Evaluate alerts and conclude them within indicative target timelines without compromising quality and completeness of analysis.
  • Escalate suspicious trading activity deserving further investigation to on-shore MIS and reporting of daily activities in a timely manner.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in banking, finance, or related discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in surveillance or compliance roles within financial services/securities environments
