Cloud Native Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team working on cloud-native product suite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, have worked on cloud-native technologies, and have a willingness to learn new technologies.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of cloud-native products and services for Kubernetes product ecosystem, learn and collaborate with the team to design and implement the product roadmap, support cloud infrastructure deployments using Platform9 products, including troubleshooting and problem resolution, continuously monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our product line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-native applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and other containerization technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement product roadmaps.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure deployments.
  • Continuously monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our product line.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in a software development role.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, TCP/IP, Ethernet, switching, routing, and network protocols.
  • Experience with programming in Python or Golang.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes or Openstack/Devstack.
  • Prior experience with Linux networking stack, kernel modules, and device drivers.
