Software Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet user requirements and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Development: Develop software applications using programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or other relevant languages. Ensure that the code is clean, scalable, and efficient.
  2. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that meet user needs. Participate in agile development processes and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  3. Testing and Quality Assurance: Write and execute unit tests to ensure the quality and functionality of the code. Conduct code reviews and collaborate with the quality assurance (QA) team to resolve defects.
  4. System Integration and Maintenance: Integrate new software components and systems with existing applications and databases. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for software applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong portfolio of applications or projects developed.
  • Skills:
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, Ruby).
  • Web Development Technologies: Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Database Management Systems: Strong knowledge of database management systems such as SQL, NoSQL, and experience in designing and optimizing database queries.
  • Version Control Systems: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
  • Development Tools and Methodologies: Familiarity with development tools and methodologies (e.g., IDEs, debugging tools, Agile methodologies).
  • Object-Oriented Programming Concepts: Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
  • RESTful APIs and Web Services: Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Software Testing: Knowledge of software testing, unit testing, and automation tools.
