The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of finance by developing and implementing risk management procedures to safeguard our Private Bank. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, document, and review risks within our Private Bank
- Design, implement, and test controls to mitigate potential threats
- Develop and test key procedures to ensure seamless risk management processes
- Create and review key risk indicators to inform strategic decisions
- Manage and deliver risk incident reports, providing actionable insights to stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A 2:1 degree from a reputable institution
- 6+ years of experience in operational risk management within financial services
- Proven expertise in private banking or wealth management
- Experience in risk identification, monitoring, and controls implementation
- Able to interpret and organize complex data to inform decision-making
- A strong track record of achievement, with awards or recognition in academic, professional, or sporting fields
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
