Enterprise Risk Manager

The Enterprise Risk Manager plays a pivotal role in developing an integrated risk management framework. This framework assesses, identifies, monitors, and mitigates business, credit, and operational risks that threaten the Bank's objectives.

  • To develop a comprehensive risk reporting framework with a strong focus on strategic risk management and de-risking strategies.
  • Prepare and submit Pillar III disclosures to regulatory bodies at scheduled intervals.
  • Act as secretary to the ERMC and manage directions provided by senior management.

This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to monitor risk related to concentration, growth, and portfolio quality. It also requires ensuring compliance with external regulations and applicable policies.

  • Conduct regular reviews of the risk outlook and recommend mitigation measures as necessary.
  • File returns to regulatory bodies at stated intervals, including RCA, LR, and RAQ.

Key responsibilities include:

Business/Financials:
  • Provide inputs for Annual ICAAP document preparation and quarterly findings covering pillar I and II risks.
  • Compute RAROC and economic capital for credit and treasury verticals.
  • Maintain ongoing reports on compliance with various KRI/risk thresholds to the Board of Directors/Risk Management Committee/Regulator.
Customer:
  • Coordinate with business and credit teams to monitor risk related to concentration, growth, and portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with external regulations and applicable policies through collaboration with compliance and audit teams.
Internal Process:
  • Regularly review the risk outlook and recommend mitigation measures as necessary.
  • Manage return submissions to regulatory bodies at stated intervals.
Innovation & Learning:
  • Deliver induction training programs on behalf of Enterprise and Credit Risk teams.
  • Maintain current knowledge of laws and regulations, keeping abreast of recent developments and disseminating information on new regulatory requirements.
